the guy going 10 MPH faster than me is a maniac and the guy going 10 MPH slower than me is a doddering fool who should have his license taken away?

At one point in my life I realized that I always felt this way whether I was going 65 or 85.

I wonder if this phenomenon applies to fandom. The guy a little more pessimistic than you is a deplorable eeyore and the guy who picks a bit more optimistically is a raving, kool-aid swilling clown.
