What do Morris, Muirbrook, Jensen have in common?

Not a single one of them would choose to be a Cougar right now. I'm telling you, a major, if not THE reason, we are losing to teams with similar athletic skills (Utah, AZ, BC, Tulsa, TCU last year) is because there is such an asinine focus on singing hymns before games, focusing on pre-game fireside talks and this religiosity that is permeating the football program. We have no mean SOBs who are out there bringing the thunder to opposing offenses. I'm all for religion, but there is no need to have it in the locker room right before a game.

My solution: have each player drink a healthy dose of N.O. Xplode (best supplement ever) before each game, encourage (at least don't discourage) fighting during practices, allow for a few throw downs on the field and stop the pre-game religiosity. LaVell would not have put up with this.

Either BYU lowers its athletic expectations or some things need to change.
