And yes while much of your argument is legit and sounds great it all gets truncated when you lose to garbage teams (UW) and blown out, not beat,blow out by teams ranked lower than you. Yes they beat two "ranked" teams. Ohio fake and Notre Lame. Two teams for getting almost as much fabricated love as USC.

I along with many could come up with very legitimate arguments that their rankings and where they were positioned is all conspiracy. How does Ohio state barely squeek by NAVY and remain in the top 10, is that really what we view as a top 10 caliber team?

These big money teams are fed these "rankings" to build more hype and more financial momentum. It definitely doesn't mean they are that much better than the BYU's, Utah's, Boise State's etc...

If the Y started off each year playing glorified high school preseason schedules and 4 to 5 Mountain west teams were slapped with a top 20 ranking like the SEC... Yeah their 1 to 2 losses would be to "ranked" teams. Now granted, USC schedules good programs, I'll give them that. Then they lose to garbage, It really washes itself out in my oppinion.
