pretty aggressively regarding Bronco's philosophy. He is not the first of the alumni from our program who has done so. I have heard quite a few guys say, "BYU football isn't a religious mission. You need to work more than your opponents if you want to win and the blowouts are an indication that the team is not outworking its opponents." So, Hans may have a mic and may put his criticism out there but Bronco has a lot of critics who just don't have mics.

That said, I think the critics are wrong about one thing. Their assumption is that BYU football doesn't work as hard as it once did because it is getting blown out by some teams. The fact is, BYU football has always been susceptible to being blown out. The problem with focusing on offense to the exclusion of defense is that sometimes you find you aren't in a game because they figured out your offense and your D couldn't keep you in the game.
