Do you pay your brother to be in your family? Do you pay your kid to be your kid?

Tell me this: when you give your kid a job to do, and he does a bad job, do you make sure he knows that?

That is the point of booing. I don't condone booing the players, because they're just kids who are playing their hearts out and not really getting paid for it. But the coaches are paid with the money we spend to support the program, and we have a right to make ourselves heard. There aren't many ways to do that.

Just to be clear, I spent a few minutes last night thinking about Bronco's entire tenure as coach, and there is only one time in that entire span that I thought boos were justified - when he decided to punt on 4th and 2 at midfield down by 17 in the third quarter two weeks ago. To me, that was a cowardly, disgusting decision. He gave up.
