I was curious how much Y representation Disneyland would get on a Sunday. I decided at length to own it. Due to scheduling for a family reunion with parties inbound from four timezones, Sunday had to be a Disney day. I wore my oval Y hat loud and proud. I saw two BYU shirts, one on a teen kid that my BIL said looked like he was there with a drumline group or something. How he came to that conclusion I don't know, but I'll take his word for it. The other one was a mid-20's kid that wouldn't acknowledge my saying Go Cougars to him.

The funniest, tho, was seeing a family, BLATANTLY obvious they were In the House - young couple with 5 kids under 7-ish, 2 strollers and garment lines all over the where - but aside from all that, weren't advertising. They were a ways away, so I didn't say anything, but I saw that he did a bit of a double-take when he saw I was looking over their way, and that he noticed my hat. I smiled at him and did the knowing nod, and he looked kinda deer-in-the-headlights for a second till he realized he'd been made. He sheepishly returned the nod and they kept going. Just humorous that people even get surprised anymore that other members can tell they are also.

Oh. Zero Yewt representation. I figured that was either because they're much more righteous than the 3 of us there and advertising, or, well, that they were sleeping off the hangover from Saturday night. I won't make any more determinations on the topic.

Iron man 3...meh. I liked the other 2 better.

Honda Lawnmower - what's the handle on the right side for?

I bought a used Honda HRR2163 lawn mower off KSL, and I'm not sure what the handle on the right is for. The handle on the left controls the speed (it has an "N" with a turtle and a rabbit), but the handle on the right has a 1,2,3 and I'm not sure what it controls. I'll try to post a pic, but until I can, here's one I found on Google:

It doesn't have the SmartDrive, instead it has a lever on either side. I've searched all over the internets, but can't find anything since it's an older model. I'm hoping a CB lawn guru can help me.

Green's initial contact with the Spurs was thanks to a stint in Cleveland with the Cavaliers under Danny Ferry. When Ferry lost his job as Cleveland's general manager in 2010 and returned to the Spurs organization that had given him his post-playing start, he recommended they bring in Green. They signed him on Nov. 17, 2010, and waived him on Nov. 23, 2010. They couldn't stand him. The Spurs didn't like his attitude and didn't think he'd fit in with their team-oriented culture.

Then, Green did something that didn't fit in with our unapologetic, text-message culture. He asked for a second chance -- on a voicemail message he left for Gregg Popovich.

Green says he told him, "I'll do whatever you need me to do. Rebound, defense, towel boy, water boy ... whatever you need me to do, I'm going to do that."

Popovich took it to heart. He brought back Green that March and signed him through the end of the 2010-11 season. By the next season, Green started more than half of the 66 games in the lockout-shortened schedule.

"Pop's a really good dude, and he gave me a second chance and I appreciate that," Green said. "The whole way along he's been pushing me and teaching me to be better, and I've grown within the system."

Follow the link provided, it shows in Black Forest a country club (golf course) called Brentwood Country Club, but I know that there is no golf course there. Can anyone shed some light on this? Was there a planned golf course that never happened or possibly a future golf course?

watched the USU game from last year

and Hill had a better game than I remembered. He was pretty accurate and made some good throws most of the game. Made some smart throw aways when pressured, but also threw it into coverage a few times, with the one INT. The offense was moving it, but stalled just outside the bluezone several times. Hoffman made some great catches. Several holding calls hurt the Cougars in the 2nd half, especially the one right after the USU fumble to start the 2nd half. USU interference on long Hoffman pass was not called. Terrible FG kicking, as typical last year, glad we are bringing in another kicker. Hadley put the forehand shimmer to the USU qb on that fumble play and is kind of a nasty player...good for us. I forgot how little brother Hadley got the personal foul on the sideline for grabbing and pulling the USU player off the byu receiver. Ziggy was making plays, but out of the game quite a bit so Bronso got a lot of reps. BYU should have won by more than a td.

Doman clearly ran the qb draw too much and it cost him with the injury at the end...been over how stupid that was.

I think the offense was a lot better with a servicable center last year....Hansen played the USU game at center vs. other games where the undersized guy started. I hope we can find a good center this year, one who is big enough for one. I think the coaches tried to address the center position in the offseason by bringing in a few new guys so let the best man win the job.
