We generally welcome respectful political discussion. Just keep it civil and polite, and you'll be okay.

As mentioned in the personal attacks rule, attacks on groups of individuals are not allowed. For example, attacking a party or other political group would violate the rules. That is not to say that you cannot disagree - just don't resort to name calling and other similar juvenile behavior. Some light-hearted mocking of public figures is allowed, but that is completely at the moderators' discretion, so don't let it get out of hand. Also, advocating revolution, assassination, or other radical or extreme action will result in a penalty.
