The former BYU star, Taysom Hill, had Twitter and social media abuzz with his second-half comeback victory performance for the New Orleans Saints.
In fact, Taysom on Sunday afternoon during the Saints-Chargers game was at one point a trending topic on Twitter.

Hill led the Saints to a 19-17 victory over the Chargers and led New Orleans in passing yards with 136 and rushing yards with 53. Taysom had two touchdown passes, both coming in the second half.
In his third season with the Saints and in the NFL, Hill is competing with former first-round NFL Draft pick Teddy Bridgewater to be the primary backup quarterback to Drew Brees.
In Sunday’s comeback victory, Hill had a quarterback passer rating of 140.6 to Bridgewater’s 16.0. Bridgewater started in the first two quarters and Hill stepped in for the second half.
Could we see Taysom get the start next week? That we don’t know at the moment.
But what we do know is that social media was loving Taysom Hill. Here are some other great tweets involving the former BYU signal-caller.
The first time I worked with Taysom I was told he was an athlete playing QB, a "running QB", insinuating he wasnt a very good passer. After 15 min with him I was floored by what a bunch of BS those opinions were. He had an NFL arm as a sophomore. He's the ultimate football player https://t.co/3fmIrjtIPF

If Taysom Hill was the starting QB, he’d lead the NFL in “No, no, no, no, no… Yes!” plays.

“I feel like I’m going to break every tackle so it’s hard to give that up,” Taysom Hill, when asked about getting down at the end of runs and not taking hits.
