Cougar fans are probably familiar with the work of ex-Cougar Romney Fuga, a 6-2, 320 pound defensive tackle currently trying to crack the roster of the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. BYU will now be adding another Fuga, in Teancum "Tico" Fuga, Romney's little brother, as a defensive line commitment for the 2014 class.

The 6-1, 278 pound Tico hails from Edison, CA, and chose the Cougars over offers from Utah, Utah State and Boise State. Those who happen to be related to former BYU standouts AND are named after Nephite military leaders are probably required to sign with BYU though, so perhaps this shouldn't be a surprise.

Brandon Gurney of the Deseret News had this analysis to offer:

He'll join fellow 2014 commits Sione Takitaki and ESPN top 300 Isaiah Nacua on the defensive line. Fuga's commitment brings BYU's 2014 class to 7, with all but Zac Dawe of Pleasant Grove hailing from outside the state of Utah.

According to Gurney, Fuga plans to serve an LDS mission immediately after high school and will join the program in 2016.
