SALT LAKE CITY — Week 10 of NFL football is in the books. There were some locals who had outstanding performances this week.

Alex Smith (Utah)

Smith had an extremely efficient game for the Washington Redskins in which he completed 70.4 percent of his passes, completing 19-of-27. He threw for 178 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions. He also took off running twice for a total of 16 yards in a 16-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Redskins now have a two-game lead atop the NFC East.

Marcus Williams (Utah)

The New Orleans Saints blew out the Cincinnati Bengals and Marcus Williams helped play a part in the onslaught. He had four total tackles in the game. But his biggest play of the game came when he picked off a pass from Andy Dalton and returned it for 78 yards, setting the Saints up with great field position. They went on to win 51-14.

Kyle Van Noy (BYU)

Van Noy was potentially the only bright spot for the New England Patriots who were manhandled by the Tennessee Titans, 34-10. Van Noy did his best to slow the Titans down and was all over the field. He finished the game with 13 total tackles.

Bobby Wagner (Utah State)

Wagner put it all out on the field in an attempt for the Seattle Seahawks to upset the 9-1 Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks came up just short of the upset, losing 36-31. But Wagner was a tackling machine and finished with 13 total tackles.

Those are not the only locals that made plays this weekend.
