The Countdown to BYU Football is nearly a quarter the way there as we recap players 78-88.

BYU Football has had a lot of players come through its program with dozens of all-americans and award winners. BYU will always be known as a quarterback university, however over the course of their history, the Cougars have had stars at every position from running back to outside linebacker.

Over the past three weeks we have been counting down the Top 100 players to ever play for BYU Football. Some of the players are players you know and love like Brandon Doman or Kai Nacua. Other players you may never have heard of such as Aaron Francisco and and Paul Allen.

Up to this point we have featured:

One Long snapper
One Kicker
Two Kick returners
Four Quarterbacks
Four Receivers
Two Tight ends
Four Defensive backs
Two Defensive ends
Two Offensive linemen
Three Running backs

Each of these players have done great things for the Cougars and have earned the recognition of being one of the best 100 players of all time. Without any further to do, we will begin our recap with player 88.
