In 72 days we will be able to watch BYU Football take on the Utah Utes

I am getting to the point where I get excited when I am scrolling through my channels in the odd channels that nobody ever watches and see football replays from last season. I really don’t have anything else catching my interest in the sports world.

College football season needs to be longer, maybe by three games. Those games could be played two weeks earlier and then one week later in the season. By doing that, this countdown wouldn’t be at 72 days it would be at 58 days, which sounds a lot better than where we are at.

At least it isn’t 74 days like the rest of the country who plays their first game the Saturday after. Either way, BYU Football needs to get here soon, or there needs to be some kind of sport that is high energy and dramatic this time of year (and to you WC fans, the tournament is so slow and we all know the US is advancing at least to the semifinals so I’ve got time).

As we do have one day less than we did yesterday, it is time to feature player 72 on the BYU Football all time greatest list. This player is actually the second quarterback that will be featured in the 70’s, but this one is probably less known than Taysom Hill is.
