BYU Football Fall Camp Countdown: Tight End Preview

PROVO, Utah – The countdown to BYU football fall camp rolls on with the Cougar Tracks podcast.
Every day on the podcast a different position is sized up as the Cougars prepare for the 2019 football season.
In today’s position preview, I took a look at the BYU tight end group. It’s crazy to think that when Steve Clark took over as tight ends coach in 2016, he was switching linebackers who had never played tight end to join his position group. Now he has a room that boasts one of the best tight ends in the country this season in Matt Bushman.
Bushman was BYU’s leading receiver a season ago hauling in 29 receptions for 511 yards and two touchdowns.
