PROVO, Utah – The all-time leader in receiving yards in BYU football history is Cody Hoffman.
Hoffman played at BYU from 2009-2013 and he made an appearance at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday to show support for his alma mater.
The Cougars are taking on the No. 24 ranked USC Trojans and the Cougars are an underdog in the game.
BYU’s odds of springing the upset against the Trojans would be a lot better if they had a receiver like Hoffman.

Hoffman was one of three former BYU players to carry out alumni flags today. Matt Allen and Bryce Mahuika were the others.
In four seasons in Provo, Hoffman had 3,612 receiving yards and he had 33 receiving touchdowns. His best season came in his junior year in 2012 where he had 1,248 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions.

BYU’s best wide receivers in program history are present for today’s big game against the nationally-ranked Trojans. Along with Hoffman, former BYU and NFL wide receiver, Austin Collie is also in attendance.
At halftime, BYU will honor Collie and four other former student-athletes as the newest inductees into the BYU Athletics Hall of Fame.
Collie was officially inducted into the hall of fame last night in the Cougar Room at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
