BYU’s Dayan Ghanwoloku Accepts Invitation To NFLPA Bowl

PROVO, Utah – BYU defensive back Dayan Ghanwoloku accepted an invitation to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
Ghanwoloku, a senior at BYU, will play in the game on January 18, 2020, at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
The bowl is in its ninth year after being founded in 2012. The NFLPA Bowl “gives prospective players the best opportunity to showcase their talents to potential employers and fans. Nearly 200 scouts, player personnel staff, general managers and head coaches from all 32 NFL teams are expected be in attendance to watch live practices, conduct player interviews and review tape.”

Ghanwoloku has played for the Cougars for four seasons. He played in 13 games as a freshman in 2016.
In his 47 game college career, Ghanwoloku has recorded 205 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 7 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 7 fumble recoveries, 1 defensive touchdown, 1 quarterback hit, and 15 pass breakups.
During his senior season, the Cougar defensive back has posted 60 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, and 3 pass breakups.
Ghanwoloku and the Cougars will finish the 2019 season in the Hawaii Bowl on December 24 at 6 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN. BYU will find out its opponent for the game on Sunday, December 8.
