BYU added a commitment to its 2022 recruiting class as Rigby, Idaho DL/OL Talin Togiai committed to BYU Tuesday morning.

Togiai is a 3-star prospect, according to 247 Sports ratings, and also had offers from Utah and Nebraska.
Togiai already has great size at 6-foot-6, 290 pounds. He tagged BYU OL Coach Darrell Funk in his commitment tweet, meaning BYU could try him out on the offensive line first. Togiai has played a lot of defensive line during his time in high school, but his size, length and athleticism to make an intriguing option at offensive tackle if BYU goes that route.
Talin was recently selected to play in the 2022 Polynesian Bowl. He comes from a football family, including his cousin in former Ohio State and current Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Tommy Togiai.
