meh, I thought he was trying to cause a fumble. It was not a very smart attempt, but either way we got it handed to us. Hard to complain about 1 potentially dirty play when that happens.

I want to see the replay of #41 on a punt return. He looked to be throwing punches and was flagged for holding.

I never said I was complaining. I'm just adding to the series of questionable play from a specific team.
When a player is holding the ball to his left side and a player punches near the kidneys on his right side, it's hard to say he was just going for the ball.

It was the kickoff. No replay. This was the only play I went back to try and watch. It happened off the camera though.

This is why I hate losing to BYU so much.

They throw up prayers to their ridiculously tall receivers, who routinely get away with offensive pass interference, and they play dirty, too.

Number 41 jumped on our guy and was throwing punches. I was there at the game.

Can't believe BYU consistently gets away with this crap and their fans can't (or won't) see it.

The only solace I get is that we didn't lose because of a talent disparity. Their recruiting classes have trended down since going independent. 8-5 or 9-4 type seasons may not be enough to hold real interest in their program and they may keep slowly declining.

Hopefully once they're out of legacy players next season, we can start winning in this series again. We're close. Last year was a good sign, but we gotta get our D nasty again.

It looked like a bona fide MMA ground and pound from where I sat. There was at least one body shot and one shot to the face mask.

I apologize, complaining was not the word I should have used. Anytime you have a few players locking up the ball carrier for a tackle, it's not a terrible idea to try to get the ball loose. I agree he wasn't in the best position and the ball looks secure. He should have gone through to the ball instead of standing there and swinging.

I remember "Spence" Hadley's little bro doing exactly that during the 6-3 game a few years back.

As obvious as a punch as it was, we were all surprised that a flag wasn't thrown. I've watched players try to knock the ball loose hundreds of times, but never use a boxing punch to do it.
