Ute fans who thought they would be competing for the Rose Bowl every year and the National Championship in special years were/are delusional. But it isn't out of the realm of possibility that Utah will contend for conference championships a couple times a decade and consistently be in the top half of the conference. Because really, Oregon and USC are the only powerhouse programs in the conference with Stanford being the only other consistently good program lately.
