Here are some more
1- His Washington State team had a team gpa average of 1.9

2- Had only four winning seasons in his last 10 years as a coach in the NCAA

3- only in one of those 4 seasons did he reach 10 wins.

4- NCAA adopted a rule called the "Erickson Rule". After his Miami team had 10 unsportsman like penalties in one bowl game.

5- Miami was put on probation and had 31 scholarships stripped by the NCAA

6- Broke the rule named after him by having 8 personal fouls called against one of his ASU teams.
(This might be what Whit sees in him- personal foul after personal foul". Including the headbutting of
a Oregon state QB)

7-ESPN is attributed to naming him the "cut and run" coach.
(Although that may be just what Utah needs right now. Teach BJ and then leave).

Still scrathing my head over his comment that he unknowingly broke NCAA rules.
How on earth can you have 31 scholarships stripped and claim you didn't know you
wee breaking recruiting rules. Especailly after several former players have spoke out
against him?

I really thought Utah could hire someone with a solid background in academics and coaching.
I knew is name had been discussed but thought Utah would think better of the situation.
Guess not- he might turn out well for the Utes, good for them if it does, but 1/3 of the PAC
has been down this road before and each team regretted it.
