You can always get a rental down there, but I highly recommend it.
This is an epic trail.

"We give this trail an Easy rating, but riders must exercise caution because of the occasional steep hill. Known as Acid Drops, Clavicle Hill, and the 3 Fingers of Death these hills should be given respect. Throughout the entire trail, easier routes are marked so bikers can ride around the more challenging sections."

Your kids won't forget it. The "worst" of it is at the beginning, the 3 Fingers of Death, but there is an easy go-around on the far left. The rest is just a roller-coaster of fun. There are some spots you'll want to walk if you are a beginner, and some of the trail is lined with pointed rocks (idiot environmentalists).

My 9 and 7 year old LOVE the trail.
