Maybe, but I think you're wrong about prestige, money, and access.
We're already seeing the access issue with the two "mega bowls" (Rose and B12-SEC), and as to money the ACC trails already, how big is that gap going to get when it loses all of its most attractive markets to the B1G and SEC? Look at what has happened to the Big East's TV possibilities. Obviously the ACC wouldn't be that bad, but you're probably talking about half the money they would be able to get from the B12. I just think you're going to have a hard time convincing FSU and Clemson to stay in a conference that has lost Maryland, UNC, NC State, Virginia, Va Tech, and Georgia Tech.
