I am not comparing Payton to Jabari, but Payton's recruitment the articles/interviews being done are bringing the Church more pub like they did with Jabari, and I think that's great.

Spare me the "Just like Jabari, Payton isn't coming to BYU" because NO ONE knows that for a fact right now, it's just an assumption, with no basis.

Also, it is clear that some think Payton is overrated, and don't care if he comes to BYU or not, and have even mentioned others they would rather have. That's fine, you're entitled to feel that way. But, obviously several coaches and their staffs feel differently. Kansas has evaluated Payton for over a year before they offered. Obviously they see something they like, just like T A&M, Florida, NC State, BC, Virginia, the Pac 12 schools, Gonzaga, BYU, and others do.

I am glad we have good LDS kids that set good examples, Parker, Dastrup, the LP boys, Dalton Nixon and others, and for the way they represent the Church.
