You hit on one point that a lot of people are missing....it's not as if BYU is
out nothing by letting Andersen walk. They turned away a couple of kids (Auston Johnson, Torrey McTyer, likely others) who could have been offered scholarships if Andersen hadn't signed. Keep in mind, they were taking a risk on a kid who hadn't played football in a year and had a significant injury. It's not like we landed him over offers to other schools - if I remember correctly, he had 0 other offers. If he goes to Wisconsin, he should have to follow the same process that other players - kids like Eddie Vanderdoes, followed - give up a year of eligibility. Why should he be special?
