I have learned few things from commuting via train. I did realize one today.
That Things is 'women's beauty'.

There is a lady sitting across from me in the train curling her hair with a curling iron.

I did not know how this worked.

I have watched many women go from 'dogs to decent' and decent to mostly beautiful' on the train (sorry if your wife applies makeup on the train).

I had no idea how a women put on makeup. I now have seen mascara, eye liner, nail polish, lip stick, base stuff, powder stuff, blush and many others makeupish things.

surprisibgly enough I haven't seen too many of them mess up although I have seen a few lipstick their teeth on a wild bump.

It has been eye opening. I can't say I'm better for it or that I need to know it or enjoy knowing it but I know it now and it is a result of commuting on the train.

Another result is my disdain for rooster alarm clocks but that's a story for a different time.

There are truly some unique people that ride the train and most days I am surprised what new thing I didn't expect to see in public that I see. Today was the curling iron and she didn't even burn herself.
