On thing that hit me watching that clip is that football is such an amazing sport because so much effort goes into 12-13 games per season. Only 12 regular season games and look at the time, effort, sacrifice that these players put in for our entertainment.

I know that it happens all around the country and that it is not unique at all to us-- but these are MY guys putting in the time right now to put their best product on the field.

I do not know how the season will end up- but I know that if these young men are willing to sweat and work to play a game I love to watch, then I owe it to them to be at least a little excited for the season, be as enthusiastic as I can about their season and cheer on the Cougs.
