Traffic law question: so CB gets annoyed when there is a slow car in the left

Lane.

What is a slow car? Yesterday I was driving home and going 80 or so in the left lane and people were on my tail so I got over going 80.

Q1 how fast is fast enough for the left lane?

Q2 at what point does obeying the speed limit become a factor in the left lane?

Help me sort this out oh wise CB!
