Wondering if I'm turning into one of THOSE neighbors.

A strange SUV pulled up in front of my house about 30 min ago. A man and woman that dont belong in the neighborhood got out and started walking up the street. It seemed late for any of my neighbors to get visitors so I stepped out my front door to see where they went.

They walked about half a block up the street and them paused by a neighbor's fence for a few minutes while the man lit a cigarette. At this point I also walked up the street on the other side to observe. They continued on, stopping at fence corners occasionally and crossing back and forth across the street twice.

They finally stopped at the corner of a cul-de-sac for a few minutes, kind of looking around the corner. They then turned the corner and were out of sight for about 10 minutes before returning to their car and driving away.

I described what happened to my wife, and she thought I should report it so I called it in. The police department just sent a cruiser down my street so at least they are taking a look around.
