The reason I would start Aytes is for defense, rebounding and inside scoring. That said, Dave Rose loves fast ball offense. So he probably will start Emery over Aytes. But our Achilles heel in the past has been our lack of inside scoring. We need to force opposing defenses to guard the paint. That will open up the arc for three pointers. But I predict that Rose will want Emery on the floor because of his ability to shoot the three. But I stick by my belief that my proposed starting lineup gives us better defense and better all around play. I guess the weakness of my starting lineup is that we have only one three point scorer on the court. Hitting threes will not be a problem though with this team -- Fischer, Emery, Chatman, Toolson, Hartsock, Zeljaas, Calvert, Ainge.
