I have not been following the GW stuff too closely and claim no special insight
but what I find interesting from this post is that he is mentioning that access is different.

I think GW is a great PBP guy and does a good job overall. However, I think that he has a strained relationship with the program at times- particularly with Bronco. His show at Bam Bams was quite different when Greg was out of town and the owner did the interview. Bronco was much more relaxed, even human like, for that interview. The conversation flowed. I wonder if that is insightful on how Bronco feels around Greg-- meaning that he does not feel like he can be himself.

I am probably reading way too much into this, but I think that GW is feeling strained because now his role is significantly less than it was historically- and that is partly because of increased TV access and the advent of BYUTV. KSL used to be the only way we could get any sort of BYU info pre and post game. Now it is simply an option, and not the best one if you have tv. Pregame with football footage is better than just talking. Postgame with replays is just better than talking. Seeing the game live is better than just listening. It is part of the world we now live in, so radio has become less important.

I think I might be reading too much into this, and when the season starts all will be well.
