My son has missed the last two days of school because he's been fighting some kind of bug. The Dr. sent him for blood work and was almost positive he had mono (which would really suck because this kid's is a good little football player, and a positive diagnosis would keep him out for at least two weeks). We sent him back to school today and results came back negative this morning. It showed he's fighting some virus, but he's good to go for football.
So my wife gets a call from the school today saying a parent brought their dog with them to pick up their kindergartner and it bit my son, who was out playing soccer during lunch recess. The poor kid has already been poked a few times this week, and now we get to deal with the possibility of a series of shots if the owner can't produce records.
The kid can't catch a break.
