Good post. 4 questions
For you if you're interested in rational dialogue.

I genuinely appreciate the first half recognizing Utahs growth.

1: why is it the BYU fans focus so much on their own early 80s success and its national implications but never discuss Utah's late 90s run in basketball? In our case, it's far more recent and we actually earned national cred by beating elite programs on a big stage.

2: While BYU was greater for far longer, how come you don't point out that that was all only under one coach? The Utes now have 3 top 10 FB finishes with 3 different coaches since 1994. BYU only has one during the same time period.

For basketball, we now have 4 different coaches tha have led us to a sweet 16.

While that's nowhere near nationally Elite, the occurrences are more indicative of sustained program success and well above anything up from our peer group from the original MWC teams.

3. Was the decision to trade the BYU series for the Michigan 1:1 a new money decision? Seems to me, Utah's sweep of the MI series has given us for more prestige and recognition.

Perhaps that's part of a broader discussion highlighting Utah's management overall OOC scheduling. The only part of the schedule they control.

At 14-1 since P12 of entrance, it's really hard to argue against the "new money" decision making.

4. While I disagree with the decision to cancel next year's game, you presume Motive is all about program superiority and somehow do not mention Emery. At all. His punch nor his words.

Without that incident, the cancellation doesn't happen. Perhaps the CB echo chamber has distracted from other potential drivers.
