POLL: Should I install my own sprinkler system and lay my own topsoil and sod in

I'm fairly inexperienced landscaper but am reasonably able-bodied and of generally sound mind. What say ye? I'd be connecting the system to the sprinkler system the builder is putting in the front yard, if that matters.

Sprinklers are not that difficult. Sod is easy, just a lot of work.
