My reason for posting is we had some guys in my neighborhood yesterday that might be part of the same group. They come door-to-door with a cleaning solution that they're selling, and they are pretty aggressive in their tactics. My wife usually buys from them because she likes the cleaner, and thinks it actually works pretty well.

So yesterday when the guy showed up, my wife said, "Sure, I'll buy some." I wasn't home from work yet, but she described the interaction with our dog. We have a relatively large dog (black lab/German Shepherd mix) that is normally EXTREMELY friendly. She loves people, including every single person we had ever had come to our door to that point.

But she HATED this guy. She went nuts, growling, barking, trying to get at him. I don't know what to make of that. It makes me wonder what she smelled, heard or saw in that guy she didn't like.
