Regarding trials and Abraham, Hugh B. Brown said "Anbraham needed to learn
something, about Abraham." The Lord already knew who Abraham was. Abraham learned a lot about himself through that trial.
The Lord knew and knows you. Hopefully, you also understand a little better who you really are and what you truly believe. There is a certain spiritual confidence that only comes through the refiner's fire.
