It's done! Rocky Mountain Power installed my net meter on Wednesday and didn't tell me. Turned on my system late last night and I've already over-produced 16 kW. Time to start banking before the summer hits.
Summary:
I used renvu.com to buy most of my equipment. Got some incidental stuff at Lowes, Amazon, Home Depot.
Total spend: $8,177.65
Utah Rebate: -$2,000.00
Federal Rebate: -$2,453.30
Net: $3,724.36
Local solar company quote: $27,027 - $10,108 incentives = $16,919
Saved: $13,194.64
It was a pretty fun project, went smoother than I thought it would. Spent about 10 hours of personal labor, about 12 hours of helper labor. Spent about $100 on in-n-out and thai food
