I'm not suggesting the entire premise is right or even preferred to allow bottom dweller p5 schools to stay in a privileged position. I believe his point about a blueblood like auburn running into issues is a fair, solid, intelligent point, and i strengthened his argument with my recruiting comment...showing a little respect even though I don't fully accept the entire argument. Personally I dislike how the wake forests, indianas, wsus, etc continue to have a seat at the table simply because of legacy conference affiliation, but I see how current p5 institutions, elite and subpar, would oppose relegation. I think it is a fair opinion why it wouldn't fly in cfb...totally different than if it should or if it is the fairest approach.
