My Comcast bill jumped approx 15% this month, so I called their billing office
The billing rep explained that my promotional period had ended, but since I am a loyal customer, there might be a current promotion I can qualify for. She transferred me to a service rep who promptly who not only cancelled the 15% increase and credited my bill, she gave me a new 12 month promotion that actually lowered my previous bill by 10%. She then told me to make a note to call back a year from now when my rate increases and ask about promotions for loyal customers.
