The second season ended tonight. Pretty good show. I am told it is History's most popular show or something like that.

In each season, 10 people are dropped off in isolation to each other somewhere on Vancouver Island sometime in September or sometime around then. They have to record all their activities in addition to surviving as long as they can. They can call emergency crews to pick them up at any time. The last one to not tap out gets $500k.

The first season, 6 people tapped out within a week. Two others tapped out after 30 days due to boredom. The final guy tapped (or he might have been pulled from the competition for health reasons) at 56 days.

Season two was much better. 4 people lasted longer than 56 days. The biggest complaint from the contestants was a lack of human interaction. The winner lasted 66 days.
