Or 8 (can't remember is name). He was the guy who built a kitchen and made tons of gadgets. He seemed at home with nature and I thought he would do it. His plan was to stay busy making things. He eventually missed his wife too much.
I also thought after the first couple episodes that the Forrest fire jumper gal would last a long time. Unfortunately, she cut her hand cutting firewood the first couple days and had to quit. She seemed like she had the knowledge/smarts and experience to survive quite a while.
