I just got the scam phone call about errors on my computer.
The guy was reading me the script (in an Indian accent, of course), and he got to the part where it says the errors are damaging my motherboard. I started chuckling, and he stopped reading the main script, then in an angrier voice said, "Why are you laughing, you M-F-. You can go f- yourself."

The thing is, the angry response, although it had the angry tone, also kind of sounded like it was from a script. Do you think they are instructed to get angry at people and respond by swearing? I'm not sure what they think they accomplish by doing that, but every time I've had one of these before, they do the exact same thing. They get angry, and they swear. I didn't even play this guy--he was maybe 15-20 seconds into his script when I started chuckling. I'm starting to think it's an alternate script they follow, although it could really use some better writing with perhaps better variation in the swear words.
