Lavell also didn't play the kind of schedule we are playing this year. This staff reminds me a lot of that staff. Even though we have lost a few games we could have, should have won, I am excited about the future. Because I know that this staff and team will just get better. We may even get steamrolled this year by Michigan State, but I still believe that the future is very bright. We just need to be patient and claim the small victories along the way. Even though we lost to West Virginia, I believe our offense took a great step forward. Many defenses are going to struggle against the Mountaineers. They have a very good quarterback, O-Line and receiving corps.
