It might be interesting when it comes time to negotiate a new TV deal.
I imagine BYU would open it up to most, if not all, networks like CBS, FOX, and ESPN. I don't know if they'll talk with NBC as BYU hates Comcast and they way they were treated by Comcast in the past.

I could see CBS offering BYU the most money as they would like better inventory. They do not have any P5 conferences on CBS Sports Network. CBS is pretty picky with what they will allow on CBS Network television. They usually get the best SEC match-ups each week. I could see CBS offering BYU one home game per year on network TV if they agree to air it at 10 am Mountain Time leading into their SEC showdown at 1:30 Mountain Time. Currently, teams don't start games that early local time, but I imagine BYU would be willing to do it for the exposure.

I could see FOX being in the mix to get more inventory and to enhance its presence with FS2. They could also probably offer one network TV home game per year.

However, due to ESPN's power in helping BYU get games I don't see BYU leaving ESPN . . . which probably means less money than what others could offer.
