struggled against the opponents we have played so far this year. Need I remind anyone of Ty Detmer's senior year? Granted, Taysom is not playing as well as he did in previous years. But to think that others would have been the second coming of Jim McMahon is wishful thinking. We have played a very difficult schedule. We have several key injuries on both sides of the LOS. We are implementing a new offense and defense. We are still not very deep in the trenches. Taysom is coming off key injuries.

I suggest we just enjoy the season and watch Taysom shine as we go into the soft part of our schedule. I love this coaching staff and know they will grow and develop as they gain more experience. I am not convinced that Tanner could have done that much better in this schedule. Who knows? I will put my trust in the coaches. They know football a lot more than I do. I am so proud that we have a guy like Taysom Hill running our offense. He is one of the greatest athletes to have played at BYU and he embodies the values of BYU and the Church like we would all want.

There is no question in my mind that we would have won the game with Jamaal. It is what it is. Time to eat some bearcat meat. What in the world is a bearcat?
