I buy the explanation on the final play (I don't think it was illegal at all).

The earlier pick play though still seems illegal to me, even in view of the explanation (Maybe even more so after reading that explanation). That said, Alabama got plenty of favors by the refs, especially early on.

And even if they didn't, who cares? (Except Alabama fans)
