What's happening here is likely confirmation bias
A child is diagnosed with autism. Parents often don't notice the gradual development of symptoms and view the diagnos as a sudden onset. They then go looking for something to blame this apparent sudden onset on. Vaccine schedules coincide with the timing of autism's development and are an easy target for those that are uneducated on the subject. Certain of this link people comb through information armed with a conclusion and searching for anything to support it.
