I might. However, I often see people act like we owe that money to him for using the site, or that its to keep the site running... Thats not true.With three ads per page, he would earn a pretty good amount of money off ads alone, even if there was no option to donate. (especially since the ads are often local/contextual, and on average a viewer on cougarboard would click on a higher average of "articles" than an average news site, and he doesnt have to pay us for our content)

I am not saying that it is wrong for him to give the option to donate, or that it is dumb to donate. Like i said, maybe someday I will.

I also dont like when people act like it is some miracle that there is even a free option.. That's how most sites operate these days. I spend a good amount of time on the internet everyday, and use a good number of different sites. Not only do I not pay a membership or fee to use ANY of those sites, but this is the only one I use that restricts features from me because I am a free user.
