offered a redshirt when Collette leaned toward the BYU greyshirt option.
Collette communicated directly with coaches and indirectly through the press that he wanted the BYU offer. Neilson signed in the fall but BYU still had a scholarship to give the following Spring, that scholarship went to Sharp.
