Anybody else find that as they grow older that you enjoy movies less and less
because of your increased knowledge of how things work and more experience applying logic? For example, we watched Flubber (90's movie with Robin Williams) recently as a family. So many questions. Like why did he create flubber in his basement instead of his lab at work? If he was a known risk for forgetting about his wedding (had happened two times previously) why didn't his fiance just insist he spend the whole day with her? Why was he conducting his tests of flubber without actually documenting it? Why did he use radioactive material in his personal residence? There would be residual radioactivity even after he took his radiation suit off.

Anyway, when I was younger I just accepted logical fallacies and common sense failures in plots and enjoyed the movie. Now they bug me. I know the movie I cited as an example was intentionally silly and not meant to be taken seriously, but it still bugs.
