Question for smart electrician type people. I'm working on installing this combo USB light switch
This is the diagram on my instructions.

And this is what my wall looks like after removing the old light switch

My two questions are.

1. Will I need to create "pigtails" from that group of both the white and the ground wires rather than picking a single white or ground wire to connect.

2. I'm pretty sure the top black wire is the single pole a wire and the bottom black is the com (common?) wire. Does this sound right? I don't have a tool to measure "hot" wires.
