Appalling. Half this board is blind to the whole problem and the other half
continues to vote for the idiots that perpetuate the problem.
What irritates me is the people here who voted for the greg hughes's of the world and then cry about how their kids get newbie teachers every other year and that they don't get taught anything useful but cry again about common core.
To those who think teachers get paid plenty just remember you get what you pay for. Teaching isn't easy and it isn't lucrative. If it weren't for the ideologically driven 20-somethings in college who get a degree in El-Ed your kids would be staring at the paint dry every year instead of learning.
To those who dislike the fact that teachers are severely undervalued and underpaid I say: Think about that next time you vote for the same ol' dude for the legislature. Your votes put you in this position.
